What you need
RuneFist Engine 0.1.8, ModelEngine R4.1.0, RuneFist Bedrock Bridge 0.1.0 and Geyser-Spigot 2.11.3 build 1247 on the same Java server. Floodgate enables Bedrock-account login without a Java account. Use ViaVersion when your server is older than Geyser's Java protocol. The tested setup uses ViaVersion 5.12.0 and Floodgate 2.2.5 build 141.
Install the files
- 1
Install the bridge
Stop and back up the server. Install Geyser-Spigot and required optional dependencies using Geyser's official setup guide. Download the separate bridge ZIP from the Engine listing. Put its JAR in plugins/Geyser-Spigot/extensions/, not directly in plugins/.
- 2
Install each mob's Bedrock files
Each updated mob download includes a Bedrock folder. Copy its .mcpack into plugins/Geyser-Spigot/packs/ and its matching JSON into plugins/Geyser-Spigot/extensions/runefistbedrock/products/. Keep only one matching pack and manifest per product. The ordinary .rfpack must still be installed and activated.
- 3
Enable and restart
Start the server, open /rf > Bedrock Support, enable it and perform a full restart. The setting is disabled by default. Alternatively, while stopped, set enabled to true in plugins/RuneFistEngine/bedrock.json.
- 4
Connect and verify
Join through your Geyser Bedrock address/port and accept the packs. Check models, animations and attack effects, then reconnect. Localhost works only on the server computer. Do not disable login authentication.
Check status
Bridge Status
Shows whether the same-server bridge responds, whether mapping is active this boot and whether your saved setting needs a restart.
Converted Content
Reports catalogs and visual definitions. These counts do not prove the client accepted or rendered its packs.
Refresh Status
Refreshes the page only. New bridge files, packs, manifests and enable/disable changes require a full restart, not a plugin reload.
