World populations

Natural spawning

Spawn a mob around players in selected worlds and biomes, without placing individual gangs.

English manual · September 2026 · Engine 0.1.8

Create a rule

  1. 1

    Choose the mob

Open /rf, select a mob, then Natural Spawning and Create Spawn Rule. New rules start disabled with your current world and biome selected.

  2. 2

    Choose conditions

Select Worlds and Biomes, then set height, time and maximum light. Empty world or biome selections allow no spawns, not all spawns.

  3. 3

    Set population and save

Adjust interval, chance, group size, population limit and spawn/despawn distances. Enable the rule and Save Settings. Leaving without saving discards the draft.

How rules behave

Shared population

The limit is per rule and world, shared by players. Natural spawns use Mob Defaults and the rule's variant, independently of gangs.

Safe locations

Attempts use loaded chunks near survival/adventure players and eligible ground or clear air. The movement leash starts at the mob's spawn point and is 64 blocks.

Saved rules

The scroll's small badge highlights time, light, biomes or worlds. Its tooltip lists combined conditions; open it to edit every setting.
