Apply a Surface
- 1
Select the paint layer
Choose the ordinary layer containing the target's base, shadow, and highlight colors.
- 2
Open Presets
Open the Presets panel beside Color and Palette, then choose Surfaces.
Paint sidebar > Presets > Surfaces
- 3
Drag onto the model
Drag a card onto a block. Hold Shift while dropping when you want only the face under the pointer.
02
It uses colors that already exist
Each material family is analyzed independently. Dark and light marks move through compatible local colors, neutral marks keep the source color, and the ends of each range clamp.
A truly single-color material stays unchanged. Add at least one compatible darker or lighter shade before applying a Surface.
